Cement Chemistry Systems, LP offers a corrosion inhibiting mechanism that is inherently compatible with Portland Cement Concrete. Using nano technology, an inorganic liquid is used to form seeds of C-S-H. This seeding process controls the microstructure of fresh concrete, rendering it less permeable, thereby significantly reducing the ingress of water and waterborne corrosion producing agents such as chlorides. This corrosion inhibiting mechanism, has produced durable concrete that has performed in difficult environments in excess of thirty years.

An independent appraisal by the Concrete Innovations Appraisal Service (CIAS), IPANEX ADMIXTURE FOR WATERTIGHT CONCRETE AND REINFORCEMENT CORROSION PROTECTION, CIAS REPORT;02-1, April 30, 2002, documents the performance of the Cement Chemistry Systems corrosion inhibiting mechanism. The CIAS service was provided through the Strategic Development Council of the American Concrete Institute
